10 Refreshing 4th of July Drink Recipes to Spark Your Celebration

Here’s what you’ll need: rum, blue curaçao, strawberry puree, lime juice, ice, simple syrup, and any garnish you deem fitting. To make it red, white, and blue themed, you’ll need to split up the ingredients by color. First the strawberry puree, rum, and lime juice, then repeat but switch out the strawberry for the blue curaçao, and lastly switch out the curaçao for simple syrup. Layer it up and you’ll have the coolest drink at the BBQ.

2. Michelada

A fun twist on a bloody mary, this Mexican beer cocktail is the perfect drink for a mix of refreshing and savory. Made with beer, lime juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and a splash of tomato or Clamato juice. This is the perfect drink for a 4th with your friends, mix them up by the pool and your guests will be happy.

3. Watermelon Lemonade Slushie

This one is super easy and kid friendly! All you need is to cut up some watermelon, throw in some water and strawberry lemonade and get that mixer fired up. Whether you want to throw in a splash of alcohol is up to you, but don’t worry these will be a fan favorite either way!

5. Blue Lagoon Cocktails

Back at it with the curaçao, this drink is perfect for your 4th of July patriotism! All you need to grab is vodka, blue curaçao, lemonade, and for garnish a lemon wheel or maraschino cherry will do the job! This one is great for the kids as well, all you need to do is switch out the vodka for some club soda and your kids will love you just as much as the adults do!

6. Moscow Mule

Moscow Mules are super easy! All you need are three ingredients: vodka, ginger beer, and a fresh lime. Moscow mules are typically served in copper mugs, making them seem extra cold and refreshing. While the copper mugs aren’t a necessity, they do add that extra zap of freshness to your drink!

7. Chelada

These are perfect for a summery day outside when you’re in need of a fun refreshing drink! For this you’ll need to grab a beer, lime juice, and salt! All you have to do is throw the ingredients into a shaker, shake it up and it’s ready to be served!

8. Jello Shots

These are easy and iconic, all you need is water, vodka, and jello mix (duh). Get your favorite jello mix with the perfect coloring and flavor, mix it up, freeze it, and bam you have the perfect treat to spice up your day. 9. Margarita Popsicles

While margaritas never fail, let's shake it up and add a little fun to this tried and true recipe list. You'll need fresh lime, sweetened condensed milk, water, tequila, orange juice, and salt.
