Autism Awareness Month 2026

April is globally recognized as Autism Awareness Month or Autism Acceptance Month. The aim of this month is to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and nurture acceptance by shining a light on the autism spectrum, highlighting organizations dedicated to supporting those with ASD, and celebrating individuals on the autism spectrum and their contributions both nationally and globally.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a lifelong neurological and developmental condition that affects communication, social interaction, learning and behavior. What many don’t realize is the wide range of abilities and characteristics those with ASD have, ranging anywhere from requiring daily support to superior intelligence. While there are many challenges those on the spectrum face, they are incredibly resilient and vibrant with unique perspectives, intense creativity, and specialized passions.
It was important to us at Flag & Anthem to partner with an organization that went above and beyond to support the ASD community, which is why we’re proud to be partnering with Invictus Academy Tampa Bay. This school works with nonspeaking or minimally speaking students and is dedicated to preparing them for the future through personal autonomy, adaptability, and self-advocacy. From the moment the students walk through the doors they are respected as highly capable learners and loved, not in spite of, but because of their individuality.
A portion of Flag & Anthem’s daily sales will be donated to Invictus Academy Tampa Bay for the month of April to support their mission.
