Desert Son Holiday Photo Shoot with Dierks Bentley

To showcase our newest Desert Son collaboration with Dierks Bentley, we headed down to Nashville, TN and met up with Dierks on his home turf. We have plenty of new vintage inspired Western shirts, hoodies, and tees to choose from in this collection and what better way to show them off than with a whirlwind tour of Music City with Dierks Bentley himself?

We met up in Germantown, a historic neighborhood a few blocks Northwest of downtown, know for it’s industrial charm, top-notch restaurants, and minor league baseball stadium, First Tennessee Park, home to the Nashville Sounds. The country star was excited to try on the newest styles and he liked them so much that he made sure to hold onto all of them for his own personal wardrobe when we wrapped.

One style that Dierks was super eager to try shares the same design that we first unveiled a few months ago on the Tennessee tee. You may remember seeing Dierks wear it when he performed on the Today Show in New York City. It was such a popular graphic that we decided to release it on a super-soft hoodie. Dierks donned the hoodie in both the black color, like the tee, with state of Tennessee emblazoned across the chest, but also a full zip hoodie in navy with a white Tennessee logo on the back.

Another hoodie that you may have seen on our page which first appeared on our site in the form of a tee shirt is the Folds of Honor hoodie. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of both the tee and the hoodie go towards Folds of Honor which provides scholarships to family members of America’s injured or fallen service men and women. The tee shirt did so well and we were so happy to donate to Folds of Honor, that we had to add this hoodie to the collection as well. Not only is it a comfy hoodie, but when you wear it, you’ll know the money you spent went to a great cause.

Of course we don’t want to forget about our vintage Western style shirts that are a trademark of our Desert Son collection. To show these off we headed to the Butcher Shoppe recording studio, owned by grammy-winning engineer David Ferguson . Of course Dierks felt free and easy in his element and quickly picked up a guitar that looked great next to Hankins Western shirt. Plus, the Gravette Western shirt looked perfect when he took to the mic. Later, when Dierks sat down with his pad and pen on the throwback style sofa, he wore the brand new Otis corduroy shirt that you may have also caught on his recent appearance on Good Morning America.

Later, we cruised around in a mint condition 1978 GMC Jimmy. It was a bit chilly so Dierks threw on the Rocklin jacket over his Gunnison shirt to stay warm and later layered the Evans jacket over the Wilder Western shirt
